Founder, Uweza

Designs offline-first systems for places the network does not reach.

A Mastercard Foundation Scholar and African Leadership Academy alumnus, and a graduate of AUI in International Relations and Quantitative Studies. Nine years designing offline-first, edge-AI systems for low-connectivity environments: precision farming, circular resource systems, resilient AI workflows.

I was raised on a scholarship funded entirely by people who never met me, down to the eraser I used in class at G.H.S. Kedjom Keku.

I did not have one parent raising me. I had a village.

One day, walking to school with my head down, one of the women of my community stopped me, said nothing, and lifted my chin. I have walked with my shoulders squared ever since.

Uweza is that debt repaid forward: a community investing in a person it has no obligation to is how a society that works functions. The platform keeps the record of what that investment produced, so the next person can be carried by it too.

Work

For nine years I have designed systems for places where the network cannot be assumed: offline-first and edge-AI tools for precision farming, circular resource systems and AI workflows that keep running when the connection does not. Uweza is built the same way. A scholar's work is saved on the phone and synced when a signal returns, and a founder's evidence comes from the mobile-money message already on their phone.
