A record that only its issuer can read is a claim. Each of these checks is public, and each says plainly what it does not prove.
Proves: Uweza issued exactly this file, unchanged, and whether the founder has since withdrawn it. The fingerprint is computed in your browser; the file is not uploaded.
Does not prove: That the ledger was audited. Uweza compared each entry with its evidence and printed what it found; it has not checked the ledger against a bank or operator statement.
Proves: The programme released a tranche against a milestone Uweza evaluated from the venture’s records at that moment, whether the milestone was met, and the reason given if it was not. Signed with the platform key; revocations are shown.
Does not prove: That money arrived. The disbursement is recorded beside it; the bank alert that brings it is matched separately.
Proves: Uweza computed these readings from the venture’s own records on the date shown, and the certificate is current and unrevoked. Your browser verifies the signature itself with the published key.
Does not prove: An audit, a credit rating or a recommendation.
Proves: Uweza froze and signed this report at its cutoff, the fingerprint matches, and whether it has been withdrawn. The programme and its funder can also re-check each figure against its sources.
Does not prove: Anything about named participants. Asked by report number, it says only whether the report stands; whoever holds the file can drop it in to check its fingerprint, signature and figures.
Proves: The public key and fingerprint every Uweza signature is checked against, fetched from Uweza rather than from the record being checked.
Does not prove: Signatures made before the key was published (19 September 2026) are valid inside Uweza but cannot be attributed to it this way.
